Who should be tested?

Hearing changes are usually gradual — so gradual that others often notice before you do. You may benefit from a hearing test if any of these sound familiar.

You often ask people to repeat themselves

“Sorry, what was that?” has become a habit in daily conversation.

Conversations are hard to follow in background noise

Cafés, family dinners and busy rooms feel like hard work.

You turn the TV or phone up higher than others prefer

The volume that feels right to you seems loud to everyone else.

You notice ringing, buzzing or blocked sensations

Tinnitus or a “full ear” feeling can be an early sign worth checking.

You are over 60, or have a history of noise exposure

Age and loud workplaces or music are two major risk factors.

Your hearing has not been checked in a few years

Like eyesight, hearing is worth a routine check as we get older.

听力测试会做什么

一次清楚、个性化的预约,重点是了解您的听力情况,而不是推销产品。

每次预约都会根据您的需要安排。不是每个人都需要做所有测试,但我们一定会解释每一步在做什么、为什么需要做。

1 第一步

了解

我们会先了解您的听力困扰、相关健康史、噪声接触、生活方式,以及最影响您的聆听场景。

2 第二步

检查

我们会检查耳道和鼓膜,看看是否有耳垢堆积、堵塞、感染迹象,或其他需要医学处理的情况。

3 第三步

测试

测试可能包括纯音测听、言语测试,以及在需要时进行鼓室图检查;我们不只看您能不能听到声音,也会了解您在真实生活中听清说话的能力。

4 第四步

解释

我们会用简单易懂的语言说明听力图,解释结果代表什么,并清楚回答您的问题。

5 第五步

规划

我们会根据测试结果和您的目标,讨论实际可行的下一步,例如定期复查、医学转介、沟通建议、听力保护,或在适合时考虑助听器方案。

预约前您可能想了解的事项:是否需要转介、需要带什么、测试过程是否舒适,以及哪些费用可能可以报销。

听力测试需要转介信吗?

预约听力测试本身不需要转介信。不过,如果您希望通过 Medicare 申请符合条件的诊断听力服务报销,需要在预约取得 GP 或专科医生开具的有效书面转介信。更多详情可查看我们的 补贴与报销说明

哪些人适合做听力测试?

如果您经常需要别人重复、在餐厅或聚会等有背景噪音的环境中听不清、电视或手机音量调得比别人高、耳朵有响声或堵塞感、年龄超过 60 岁、有长期噪声接触史,或已经好几年没有检查听力,都建议做一次听力测试。更多信息可查看 哪些人适合做听力测试

我需要带什么?

请带上 Medicare 卡、任何优惠卡或 DVA 卡、私人保险资料、GP 或耳鼻喉专科转介信,以及以往的听力测试结果。如果您已经在佩戴助听器,也请一起带来。

听力测试需要多长时间?

请预留约 60 分钟。这样我们有足够时间了解您的情况、完成必要测试,并更重要的是从容解释结果、回答您的问题。

我需要提前准备什么吗?

通常不需要特别准备。如果您近期参加过演唱会、使用电动工具或接触机器噪声,最好在测试前一天尽量避免高噪声环境,因为短暂噪声影响可能会改变测试结果。其他情况下,带上相关卡片和资料即可。

预约当天

测试会痛吗?

不会。您会佩戴耳机,听到声音或词语时按提示回应。耳道检查和中耳功能检查都很快,也通常很舒适。

测试包括哪些内容?

我们会先了解您的听力困扰和相关历史,检查耳道和鼓膜,再通过纯音测听了解不同频率的听力阈值,通过言语测试了解您听清词语的能力;如有需要,也会进行中耳功能检查。结果会在当天为您解释清楚。

当天能拿到结果吗?

可以。离开前我们会用简单易懂的语言带您看听力图、回答问题,并给您一份结果副本,方便您留存或交给 GP。

你们会推销助听器吗?

不会。我们的建议是独立的,也不是每位做完听力测试的人都需要助听器。Wang To Hear 没有销售指标。如果结果显示助听器可能有帮助,我们会清楚说明选择、品牌和费用,并给您足够时间决定;如果不需要,我们也会直接告诉您。

如果发现需要医学处理的问题怎么办?

如果测试发现需要医学进一步评估的情况,例如明显耳垢堵塞、双耳差异较大或中耳问题,我们会解释发现,并在适合时建议您转介给 GP 或耳鼻喉专科医生。

家人可以陪同吗?

当然可以,而且我们很鼓励家人陪同。熟悉的声音对讨论言语听辨很有帮助;一起听结果说明,也更容易记住重点和一起决定下一步。

补贴与报销

这项听力测试可以报销吗?

视情况而定。符合条件的澳大利亚政府 Hearing Services Program(听力服务计划)或 DVA 客户,听力测试可能由相应计划覆盖。持有效转介信时,部分诊断听力服务可能可申请 Medicare 报销;部分私人保险 Extras 也可能包含听力服务。请带上相关卡片和转介信,我们可以帮您确认适用路径;完整信息可查看我们的 补贴与报销说明

Medicare 是否覆盖听力测试?

在医疗执业者(例如 GP 或耳鼻喉专科医生)开具有效书面申请的情况下,Medicare 可能对部分诊断听力服务提供报销。转介信需要在预约前准备好。一般来说,Medicare 不报销助听器购买费用。

我是养老金领取者,听力测试有补贴吗?

许多持 Pensioner Concession Card 的人士符合澳大利亚政府 Hearing Services Program(听力服务计划)资格,该计划包含补贴的听力测试。请在预约时带上 Medicare 卡和 Pensioner Concession Card,我们会协助您了解申请路径。

我是 DVA 卡持有人,适用哪些安排?

符合条件的 Veteran Gold Card 持有人,或听力损失/耳鸣为已获认可病症的 White Card 持有人,可能可通过 DVA 获得听力测试支持。预约时请带上 DVA 卡,我们会协助您确认合适路径。
